Zoo Day

The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo
We went to the Zoo with some good friends. It was a very sunny day! We started with some monkey watching.

The pelicans are so big! Taller than Dalton!

Rory's favorite the foxes. They are bat eared foxes.

The African porcupine was showing off up close and we talked about how sharp the quills are.
"The African Crested porcupine has longer quills (8 to 16 inches in length as opposed to the 2 to 4 inch American ones)"

We found some beautiful butterflies!

We wated to see the red panda but someone else was showing off instead.

Penguins! The kids just wanted to join the exhibit to swim!

The favorite was the stingray pool where they could reach in the water to touch the sting rays!

The alligator hunting log ride.

Some cuties! The kids had a blast. We can't wait to return!
