Now I will bombard you with our life in pictures... for the next couple posts.
Winter seams to be wrapping up (Haha, we thought) with more sunshine and wind and less clouds and cold. With wind comes the never ending gifts from our front yard tree. Now it is gifting sticks, lots and lots of sticks. So we play pick up sticks a lot.
Dalton is still lining up his critters even through the more traffic heavy places like the kitchen during dinner prep time.
We have a fun tradition that we have been doing for several Christmases. At the end of the Christmas season I use left over wrapping paper to wrap all the children's Christmas books. I then put them in tubs in the attic until the end of November. Starting Dec. 1 the kids will take turns unwrapping a story every night. They have really loved this tradition. I just know it won't happen if I don't wrap them before packing them away so as usual the last thing to be packed from Christmas are these kids books.

Another snow! Rory loves the mountains created by the snow plows in the parking lot of her school.
At it again
February 13 my parents drove up to stay a long weekend with us! They brought this flower that is almost as big as bubba... not sure why the long face though.
My parents watched our kidos so we could go out on valentines day with friends! We tried so many restaurants but all had hours of waiting so we ended up in the mall! We ate at the food court, got to choose whatever type of food we wanted then sat next to the large merry go round and ate. We did some window shopping and ended in the Barns and Noble coffee shop just chatting and relaxing. Thanks again Mom and Dad for watching our babies so we could have an adult night out.
February 17 My Dad assisted in making one of my childhood dreams came true! My Mom took this photo of Dad and I and I texted Bryan that my Dad had finally let me get a pony! I tried to make it look as real as possible! Bryan's reply was "Oh my! So cool! What does that thing eat?" ;) I relied 6 D batteries. Dad and I were doing a donation drop at the Seminary Co-op and when we walked in the door there the pony was! I looked at my dad and said dad can I please have a pony?! I told him it would end up back at the co-op because I am sure we will not want to move with it!
The kids love the pony! He resided in the living room now and is a great perch to watch a movie from and hold very still for the kids to use to build tents!
At my work, Lutheran South Unity School we had a visitor that everyone loves! I think his name is Jared and he is a comfort dog!
Jarred's Bio: My Bible verse is Psalm 100:5, "For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations."
I am an LCC K-9 Comfort Dog for Holy Cross Lutheran Church and School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I interact with people at churches, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, events, and in disaster response situations.
An LCC K-9 Comfort Dog is a friend who brings a calming influence, allowing people to open up their hearts and receive help for what is affecting them.
His facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/pg/JaredComfortDog/about/
The students really love him!
Rory captured a picture of me braiding her hair for school early in the morning.
With sunshine comes the great outdoors! How we have missed it! Dalton trying out his new to him scooted found at the co-op also.
The kids love the remaining snow piles!
Playing at the Seminary Playground
To end February we visited Hyde Brothers Book Sellers that had really cool ladders that the kids posed on for pictures!
